Eva Caron, 93 of Goffstown died May 21, 2012 at CMC in Manchester.
She was born on October 14, 1918 in Boston, MA the daughter of Alfred and Florence (Rousseau) LaRochelle. She lived in New Bedford, MA where she attended St. Anthony School and then in Manchester for most of her life. She attended Sacred Heart School and completed her nursing at Moore General Hospital in Goffstown.
She worked as a LPN in the local hospitals in the pediatric and orthopedic departments and in the ICU at Dartmouth.
She served as Grand Region of the Catholic Daughters of Rochester.
She loved flowers and had a thirst for knowledge.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Norman Caron and his wife Mary-Jane of Dunbarton; 2 grandchildren, Glenn Caron and his wife Ann of Raymond and Wayne Caron of Manchester; 2 great grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob, 3 great grandchildren, Mattix, Trenton and Evangelina; sister, Doris George and her husband Harry of Thornton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling Hours at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester, NH on Thursday from 5-8PM. Complimentary valet parking will be available. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00AM at Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley St, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva's memory can be made to the Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
