Evdoxia Merisotis

Evdoxia Merisotis, 96, of Manchester, NH died on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Elliot Hospital, in Manchester, NH.  

Mrs. Merisotis was born on May 7, 1926, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Savas and Marianthi (Athanasiou) Valavane. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.

She was predeceased by her husband, Socrates (Soc). They were married over 65 years. Mrs. Merisotis was also predeceased by her beloved son-in-law, Karl Savage.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Merisotis was employed at Martin’s House of Cloth.

Her hobbies and interests include; knitting, crafts and reading. In prior years, she and her husband Soc enjoyed the beach together.

Members of her family include; a son, William and his wife Joanne, of Concord, NH; a daughter, Pamela Savage of Loudon, NH; and her granddaughter, Kim Savage, of Concord, NH.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers and interment will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM.    

Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mrs. Merisotis.
