Evelyn H. (Sewcyk) St. Cyr, 82, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. St. Cyr was born on February 1, 1927, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Pasciak) Sewcyk. She was a resident of Merrimack for over 35 years. Prior to this she lived in San Jose, CA.
She enjoyed dancing and trips to the beach. Mrs. St. Cyr enjoyed spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren.
Members of her family include; her husband of 58 years, Robert C. St. Cyr, of Merrimack; 1 son, Craig R. St. Cyr, of Barrington, NH; 1 daughter, Donna Medeiros, of Roseville, CA; 2 brothers, Richard Sewcyk, of Massachusetts; Robert Sewcyk, of Colorado; 2 sisters, Eleanor Sewcyk, of Bedford, NH; Marlene Puglisi, of Florida; many nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: In addition, other family members include; her son in law, Richard Medeiros and daughter in law, Kathleen St. Cyr, and her 2 grandchildren, Lindsay & Kyle St. Cyr.
Calling hours will be Thursday, April 16, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers and burial will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, #110, Bedford, NH 03110, or to VNA of Manchester & Southern NH, Inc., for Hospice Care, 33 S. Commercial Street, Suite 401, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mrs. St. Cyr.
