F. John Jack DeSantis Jr., 66, of Goffstown died November 2, 2005 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a period of declining health. Jack was born on September 24, 1939 in Salem, MA the son of the late Fabio and Norma (White) DeSantis, Sr. He owned and operated Beverly Auto Body in Beverly, MA. and had previously worked for his father at Salem Auto Spring. Jack was a member of Masonic Temple in MA. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a very active member of Harley Davidson Owners Group. Jack was also a long time client of the Manchester Easter Seal's CARES day care program. For the past 8 ½ years he had been a resident of the Hillsborough County Nursing Home where he made many friends. He was comforted by the staff and lived out his last years with dignity thanks to their tremendous support. The family wishes to thank them for all the years of care. Jack was predeceased by second wife Catherine and brother Peter DeSantis. Family members include; two sons Scott DeSantis and wife Alicia of Lancaster, PA (formerly of Bedford, NH) and Seth DeSantis; three brothers, Joseph of Peabody, MA; Robert of Salem, MA and James of Salem, MA; step-mother, Rita of Beverly, MA; 3 grand daughters, Alexandra, Olivia and Amelia; his first wife, Trudy Morse of Danville, NH; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a Memorial Reception on Saturday, November 5th from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
