Faye A. Jennings

Faye Jennings passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Bethlehem, NH on May 23, 2023.

She was attended by her son, Tom Jennings, her long time caregiver.

She had celebrated her 97^th birthday on Dec 18, 2022.

Faye was one of the six children of June and Ivan Edwards of Oxford, ME.

Just after WWII she went to work in Portland, ME. On a double date there she met a young engineer, Maurice Jennings of House Springs, MO.

They were married for over 30 years when she was widowed.

Faye and Maurice raised a family of four in West Boxford, MA.

In addition to Tom Jennings, their children include, Mary Hogan, Kathy Kres, and Patty Rennels. 

Faye also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed travel, the seashore, and trips to Boston for the ballet, theatre, and classical music. She was particularly fond of Strauss waltzes.

Faye was an avid tennis player, skier, reader, and knitter. She was still doing crossword puzzles last week.

A long time children’s librarian, she also volunteered at Littleton Hospital.

Memorial will be held in private.
