Fernande J. (Blondeau) Cere, 82, of Goffstown, formerly of Manchester, passed away January 6, 2011 at Catholic Medical Center.
She was born in Manchester on September 20, 1928, the daughter of Edouard and Yvonne Blondeau. She had worked in the electronics industry for many years. She loved animals, crocheting, arts and crafts, and listening to country music. She was the widow of Roland E. Cere, Sr., who died in 1997 after 48 years of marriage.
In Her Life: Family members include three sons, Maurice Cere and his wife Lucie of Franklin, Norman Cere of TN, and Roland Cere, Jr., and his wife Terry of Manchester; five daughters, Jeanne Lareau of Manchester, Lillian Cere of Salisbury, Connie Cere of Hudson, Lorraine Pelissier of FL, and Christine Trombly and her husband Frank of Auburn; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; a brother, Roland Blondeau of Manchester; a sister, Claire Vachon of Goffstown; and nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Tuesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 AM. A graveside committal service will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery after the service.
