Fernande I. (Grenier) Paquin, 82, formerly of Manchester and Laconia, died May 14, 2000 at Greenbriar Terrace in Nashua. She was born in Canada on June 1, 1917, the daughter of William and Corona (Letendre) Grenier and had lived for many years in both the Manchester and Laconia area. She had been a parishioner of St. Jean the Baptist Church in Manchester and was the widow of Roland Paquin who died in 1992. ''Fern '' was known and loved for her sense of humor and spirit of giving. She found great pleasure in creating needlepoint crafts and knitting hanging towels; but took even greater pleasure in giving them away to all who touched her life. Family members include three daughters, Doris Reel of Nashua, Jacqueline Latham of Hudson and Rita Case of Nashua; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a brother, Jean Grenier of Florida; three sisters, Bernadette Cormier of Everett, MA; Yvette VanDerBeKen and Theresa Bernier both of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in St. Jean the Baptist Church. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
