Fernande "Fern" L. (Boucher) Fournier Villemaire, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center.

Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marie Louise (Gosselin) Boucher. Fern had been employed as a shoe worker for many years, working for several mills in the area.

A dedicated wife and friend, Fern's family was paramount in her life. She enjoyed snowshoeing; traveling throughout New England and Canada to snowshoe new trails with her first husband, Leo Paul Fournier. Fern relished summers spent at York Beach with Leo and their friends. Fern found great comfort and strength in her Catholic faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Fernande is survived by several dear cousins and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Leo Paul Fournier in 1996, and her second husband, William Villemaire in 2003.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester, on Sunday, April 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Ste. Marie Parish, 378 Notre Dame Ave. on Monday, April 18 at 10:00A.M. followed by Committal Service in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
