FRANCONIA, NH -- Florence E. Sanborn, age 83, passed away on December 28, 2005 at the Lafayette Center in Franconia.
Florence was born on December 13, 1922, a daughter to Plummer and Bertha (Tracye) Bacon, in Dalton, NH. She attended area schools.
She was employed by the Littleton Stamp and Coin Company for over twenty years. Florence enjoyed sewing, knitting and gardening. She was an avid reader and loved her cats and trips to Wells and York Beach, Maine.
She is survived by two children, Judy Griffith and husband, Larry, of Mt. Erie, IL, Chuck Pearce and wife, Martha of Flora, IL; two step-children, Linda Lenahan and husband, Francis of Mechanic Falls, ME, Rhoda Rousseau and husband, Arnold of Littleton, NH; 14 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph James Sanborn on April 14, 1974, and two great-grandchildren.
SERVICES -- A Graveside Service will be held on May 3rd at 1:00 p.m. in the Maple Street Cemetery in Bethlehem, NH.
