Florida Masse

Florida Masse, 95, formerly of 118 St. James Avenue, Manchester, died June 30, 2001, at Maple Leaf Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Lacolle, Quebec on July 30, 1905, the daughter of the late Frederick and Josephine (Belair) Laramee and had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life. She was the widow of Louis F. Masse who died in 1974 and was also predeceased by her son Arthur Masse who died in 1989. Family members include two daughters Mrs. Aubert (Alice) Menard of Lacolle, Quebec and Mrs. Louise Durant of Manchester, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Notre Dame du Mont Carmel, Lacolle, Quebec, at a later date. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, is in charge of arrangements.
