Frances Marie Graichen (93) was born on May 5, 1931 in Providence, R.I., the daughter of Earl Sr. and Doris [Utley] Frawley. She is predeceased by her three brothers, Earl Jr., William, and Robert Sr.; by her husband, Frank G. Sr., her daughter, Sandra, and granddaughter, Heidi Marie. Survived by her Son, Reverend Frank Jr., six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Frank Sr. and Frances left R.I in 1958 to start a new life in East Manchester.
Known as Fran, she was a lover of cross-word puzzles, Boggle, scramble and rummy. Many knew her through the cafeteria of Green Acres Elementary school. An ardent supporter of 4-H for many years, she combined her talents with Mrs. Dorothy Hebert and Mrs. Lucille LaBerge. A women of Christian faith and service, the family attended First Congregational Church, UCC in Manchester for many years. She was a member of the Red Hatters, and was a governess for many years. Fran is remembered for her laughter, progressive thought and love of camping and nature.
