Frances M. Heald, 100, of Littleton, died Monday at Lafayette Center, October 26, 2009. Frances was born the daughter of Harry Lewis and Mary (Mooney) Heald in Littleton on November 4, 1908. She was a graduate of Littleton schools, an early supporter and outspoken proponent of the need for the North Country Home Health Services and a founder, leader and meticulous guardian of the facts and artifacts of the Littleton Historical Society. She was a devoted member of All Saints Episcopal Church having served on the altar guild. Also, Frances was a dedicated volunteer at the Littleton Regional Hospital. She is survived by no immediate family but a host of extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church at 11 am Wednesday November 11, 2009 with The Rev. Kurt Wiesner officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church or the Littleton Historical Society.
