Frances V. Spiewak, 70, of Manchester, died October 2, 2003 at the Elliot hospital following a sudden illness. She was born in Manchester on April 30, 1933, the daughter of Peter P. and Anna R. (Tokarz) Spiewak and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, class of 1951. She was an employee of NYNEX , retiring after 34 years of dedicated service. She was a volunteer for several years at the Elliot Hospital. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. She was a very caring and generous person. Family members include three sisters, Mrs.. Stanley (Josephine) Gruszewski of Manchester, Mrs. Robert (Julia) Morin of Hooksett and Mrs. Kenneth (Janice) Pitman of Manchester; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her long-time companion of 45 years, John (Bob) Begin. A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 AM. Urn burial will take place in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
