FRANCES STILLINGS
LANCASTER, NH â Frances Stillings, 93, passed away on July 14, 2014 at the Country Village Center in Lancaster.
Frances was born on April 2, 1921, a daughter to Ernest and Eva (Wheeler) Nelson in North Haverhill, NH.
She lived at 15 Pike Avenue in Littleton for over 50 years with her husband, Woodrow, now deceased. Frances spent 7 years with her daughter, Elaine and husband, Bob. She was able to enjoy visits with family and friends, and even fit in 4 cruises during that time. When the time came that she needed extra care, Frances was well taken care of at Country Village until her passing.
Frances was well-known for her love of antiques. Her ability to cane and restore furniture was appreciated by many. She was a superb horsewoman in her youth and performed in shows as a stunt rider. She never lost her love of horses.
Frances loved and was loved by her children and grandchildren. She will be missed.
Surviving family members include her children, Nancy Gibeau and husband, Joe of Gilmanton, NH, Loxley Ness and wife Cill of Monroe, NH, and Elaine Koczur and husband, Bob of Littleton, NH; her grandchildren, Frances Egan and husband, Robert of North Carolina, Charles Boolba and wife, Alison of North Carolina, Brian Morse of West Roxbury, MA, Ginger McHugh and husband, John of Northwood, NH, Clinton Ness of Bethlehem, NH, Thomas Nolin and wife, Atirat of Northfield, NH, David Couturier of Stafford, CT, Jeremy Sebestyen and wife, Hollie of Goffstown, NH, and Christine Koczur, by marriage, of Torrington, CT; as well as 15 great-grandchildren.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Stillings, her daughter, Jane "Sunshine" McVicar, and her grandson, Christopher Ness.
SERVICES â A Graveside Service will be held in the State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at the convenience of the family.
