Francis Joseph Albert, 77, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the NH State Veterans Home in Tilton. He was born on October 29, 1946 in Lowell, MA, son of Joseph and Jeannine (Delalieu) Albert.
He was the beloved husband of Jeannette E. (Cormier) Albert. Pre-deceased by precious granddaughter, Nicole Lynn Allen 1/18/2016 and beloved son, John Francis Albert 11/24/2023.
Francis was a graduate of Lowell High School. Following High School, he joined the Navy and served as an RFD-3 (Radar Man) during Vietnam on the USS Kankakee as part of Unit AO-39. After his service, he attended Northern Essex College, where he earned his Associate Degree in Business. He earned his Real Estate license from Lee College; and then went on to earn his Batchelor Degree in Economics at Eastern Connecticut State College.
During his life, Francis worked as a driver for UPS; owned and operated Albert Reality where he sold and invested in Real Estate; he built and owned Raymond and Northwood Self-Storage facilities where he retired from.
He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman. In his free time, he enjoyed sailing, boating, hunting and fishing. He even built his own homes. Above all, he was a strong family man and devoted father and grandfather.
Francis served 25 years on the Candia Planning Board, 15 years on the Board of Directors of the Deerfield Nursing Home, was a life member of the NRA and gun safety instructor, as well as a member of the Lions Club, Jaycees, American Legion, and the Deerfield Bible Church.
Along with his wife, Jeannette, he is survived by his daughter, Linda Nave and her husband Jim; his sister, Marie (Albert) Arena; brother, David Albert; granddaughter, Amanda (Allen) Bean; and great grandson, Lucas James Bean; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King Street in Boscawen on Wednesday, May 08, 2024 at 11am. Interment prayers and military honors will follow the service, 12pm, at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
