Francis M. Boyd

Francis M. Boyd, 83, of Hinsdale, NH passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, VT. He was born in Wilmington, VT on February 5, 1930, the son of the late Jasper G. and Laura F. (Moulton) Boyd.

Francis served his country in the US Air Force. Throughout his career he was employed at AC Lawrence, O'Neil Paper and AR Sandri before his retirement. He enjoyed playing cards, attending tag sales and was a vendor at the flea market in Newfane. Francis especially loved spending time with his family and dog, Chuckie.
He is predeceased by his wife, Anita D. (Martin) Boyd in 2003; three brothers, Linden, Tom and Burton Boyd; and a sister Margaret Boyd.

Francis is survived by a son, Timothy Boyd, Sr. and his wife Bonnie of Hinsdale; a daughter, Katherine Prince of Essex Junction; a brother, Ralph Boyd; three sisters, Mildred Stark, Leola Garland and Shirley Franklin; four grandchildren, Jessica Crosby Hoehl, Timothy Boyd, Jr., Carrie-Lyn Boyd and Melissa Durbrow Lawson; four great grandchildren, Riley and Parker Lawson and Sydney and Paige Hoehl; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 10AM to 12AM at Ker-Westerlund Funeral Home, 57 High St., Brattleboro, VT. A Graveside Service will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Hinsdale, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francis's name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231.
