Francis J. ''Frank'' Caikauskas, 70, of 111 Huse Road, died April 9, 2000 at Hanover Hill Health Care. He was born in Manchester on May 29, 1929, the son of Kostantas and Elizabeth (Maciulavicius) Caikauskas, and had been a lifelong resident of the city. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the New Hampshire Army National Guard aviation facility for 35 years. He started as a fixed and rotary wing mechanic. He was then promoted to Shop Foreman and served in that capacity for 25 years. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. Family members include his wife of 49 years, Doris (Moreau) Caikauskas; two sons, Alan Caikauskas and Michael Caikauskas both of Manchester; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Lisa) Corthell of South Hampton; nine grandchildren; a sister, Veronica Olkovikas of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
