FRANCIS PATRICK GRIFFIN
LITTLETON, NH Francis P. Griffin, 63, of Partridge Lake Road, passed away on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
Francis was born on October 29, 1941, a son to Francis and Evelyn (Hamel) Griffin in Medford, MA. After graduating from high school in Medford, Francis served in the U. S. Navy during the beginning of the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Navy, Francis attended Boston University.
Francis married his wife of 39 years, Mariea (Pelham) Griffin in 1965. He served as a Massachusetts State Officer in Law Enforcement until their move to Littleton, NH 18 years ago. Francis was a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist and he and his wife operated a business of placing disabled persons into the work force. Francis coached the basketball team at the Littleton High School and loved gardening and going to the beach.
Surviving family members include his wife, Mariea Griffin of Littleton, NH; one son, Matthew Griffin of Bethlehem, NH; two daughters, Erin Fadden of Littleton, NH, and Kerry Mucher of Alton, NH; one brother, William Griffin of Medford, MA, two sisters, Patricia Polaski and Roberta Bailey, both of Medford, MA; and three grandchildren.
SERVICES A Celebration of his life will be held at the family home on Partridge Lake Road on Friday, March 25th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., family and friends are welcome.
