Francoise M. Racicot, 79, of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Paquetville, Quebec, Canada, she is the daughter of the late Alpha Lemieux and Yvonne (Boulay) Lemieux Breault.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Francoise's family was paramount in her life. She was a proud homemaker, tenderly caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren. A devout Catholic, Francoise found great comfort and strength in her Christian Faith. She was a 40 year parishioner of Ste. Marie Parish and sang in the choir for several years. Singing, in both French and English, was Francoise's great passion. In her young years, she enjoyed knitting and gardening. Francoise will be best remembered for her gentle heart and dedication to family.
Francoise is survived by her husband, Joseph Racicot, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage; daughter, Rachel Fauteux and husband Michael of Manchester; son, Roger Racicot and significant other Fleur Pantazis of Manchester; three grandchildren, Chloe, Christian, and Wyatt; sister, Dolores Charest of FL; brother, Louis Lemieux and wife of VT; four half siblings, Marie-Ghislaine Heileman, Louise Gallant and husband, Lise Riley and partner, Bruno Breault and partner; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Francoise was predeceased by her step-father, Romeo Breault; and half brother, Paul Breault.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave., Manchester on Wednesday, January 16, from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in the Ste. Marie Parish, 378 Notre Dame Ave., on Thursday, January 17 at 10:00A.M. Committal Service to follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
