Frank R. Procopis, 61, died at home in Bedford on August 26, 2002. He was born in Grevena, Greece on July 24, 1941, the son of the late George and Vasilike (Dundas) Procopis. His family immigrated to Milwaukee, Wiscousin in 1945. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in 1965. After working for the Fedral Aviation Administration in the Midwest for many years, he and his wife moved to Bedford, NH in 1990. Frank worked for the F.A.A. For 32 years as an Air Traffic Caontroller, instructor, supervisor and administrator. He was a member of the Henry Palmer Lodge in Milwaukee, India Temple in Oklahoma City and Guthrie Scottish Rite in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was a private pilot and enjoyed sailing, gardening, photography and playing guitar and cooking for his family. Frank was a devoted husband and father. Family members include his wife of 39 years, Jeanene (Rybak) Procopis of Bedford, NH, a son Christopher Procopis and his wife Stephanie Hope of Manchester, a daughter Stephanie Procopis of Portsmouth, NH, a sister Mrs. Thomas (Vickey) Tsakonas of Brookfield, Wisconsin, two brothers James Procopis and his wife Mary of Falls Church, Virginia and Plato Procopis of Tampa, Florida, a niece, several nephews and sisters and brother-in-laws and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to a memorial reception at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Bedford Center in the Bedford Village Shops, Rte. 101, Bedford, NH on Monday September 9th from 10 to 11 with the service immediately following in the funeral home chapel.
