Frank E. Wallin

FRANK E. WALLIN, SR. Frank E. Wallin, Sr., 85, of Bedford, NH, died March 13, 2008, at The Arbors of Bedford. Mr. Wallin was born on February 21, 1923, in Bridgeport, CT, the son of the late John A. and Jane E. (Hotchkiss) Wallin. He was a resident of Bedford since May 2002. Prior to this he lived in Milford, CT. At the time of his employment, Mr. Wallin was employed as a building inspector for 10 years for the city of Milford. He also built and sold homes. He was a veteran of World War II having earned the rank of Sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps. Mr. Wallin enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Members of his family include, 1 son, Frank E. Wallin, Jr., of Melbourne, FL; 3 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Mr. Wallin was predeceased by his wife, Marie (Monney) Wallin, who died in 1981. IN HIS LIFE: In addition, other family members include his 3 grandchildren, Erik, Matthew and Nicole Wallin. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 15, from 2 – 5 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, in Milford, CT. Burial will be take place on Tuesday, 2 P.M. at Milford Cemetery, in Milford, CT. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The Alzheimer's Disease Research, 1 Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 105, Bedford, NH, 03110, in memory of Mr. Wallin.
