FRED W. LOCKE
SUGAR HILL, NH -- Fred W. Locke, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2016, at the age of 79.
Fred was born in Lisbon, NH on December 22, 1936, the son of Frank Herbert and "Winnie" Marie Wilomina (Delage) Locke. He attended school until the eighth grade when he began his career as a successful farmer and became a member of Agri-Mark Dairy Farmer, Inc.
It would be hard to find a stronger willed man than Fred Locke. He was generous to a fault and would gladly help almost anyone. His passions included being a successful hunter, skilled tradesman, farmer, mason, and a strong and supportive father, grandfather, and great grandfather. One of his favorite memories was helping Charlie Stewart build the dairy bar in Franconia, NH.
Fred was the youngest of seven children and is survived by his eldest sister Ruth (Locke) Hubbard, of Winterhaven, Florida. He is also survived by his 5 children, Tex Locke of Easton, NH, Chester Locke of Sugar Hill, NH, Irving and wife Melissa Locke of Landaff, NH, Brenda and husband Robert DeRosia of North Haverhill, NH, and Dale and wife Jennifer Locke of Landaff, NH; his grandchildren, Andrew and Gregory Dellinger, Cameron Smith, Travis, Everett, Lance, and Brianna Locke, Michael & Matthew DeRosia, Brittany Hall, and Kaelynn Gilmore; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES -- Calling hours will be Thursday, January 7th from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton. There will be a Graveside Service in the Elmwood Cemetery on June 1st at 11:00 a.m.
