LITTLETON, NH  Fred C. Tabbut, age 86, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 18th with his family by his side.

Fred was born on December 27, 1922, a son to Clayton E. and Mary E (Thompson) Tabbut in Providence, RI. He attended high school in Providence, RI.

Fred served five years in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked as an engineer for a radio station in Lenoir, NC. He married Louise (Savage) Tabbut in 1952 and they lived in North Carolina prior to moving to Littleton, NH in 1953. He started Tabbuts TV, which he owned and operated for 35 years. After retiring from his business, Fred worked for Walmart in Littleton in the electronics department up until his passing.
Fred loved to read, fish, travel, and was an avid bowler for many years. He was a devoted father and husband, and his first concern was always for his family and home.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Louise Tabbut of Littleton; his daughter, Karen and her husband, Stephen Wilbur of Westford, VT; and a granddaughter, Erin of Portland, OR. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew.

SERVICES  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton, with Military Honors presented by the V.F.W. Howard Shawney Post #816. A private burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Freds memory to the Littleton Public Library, 109 Main Street, Littleton, NH 03561.
