Frederic J. Cormier

Frederic J. Cormier, 61 of Auburn, NH passed away peacefully on 07-22-22, after a brave battle with cancer. Fred is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his beloved mother Mary and sister Mary of Londonderry, NH; brother Kevin and his wife, Danielle, of Andover, MA; his children, son Stephen and partner Joy, and stepchildren Kristina, Sarah and James Woodmansee; nieces Nina Barden and Katie Leone, Kaitlyn and Dehlia Cormier; and greats RyLynn, Reese and Liam Barden; and many extended family members. He is predeceased by his father, Frederic Cormier.

Born and raised in Millis, MA, Fred graduated from Pelham High School and went on to pursue his passion as an aviation technician for TWA and later worked on planes for UPS for over 20 years. If it had a motor, he could fix it, and he was happy to share that knowledge with the many lifelong friendships made in the world of aviation. The stories and memories he left behind for those who loved him most will live on in the generations to come.

Services: wake to be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Tuesday, July 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas, 26 Crystal Ave. in Derry, NH, followed by the Rite of Committal at Gibson’s Cemetery, Marsh Rd., Pelham, NH.
