Frederick M. Stanley

Frederick M. Stanley of Northfield NH, formerly of New Port Richey FL passed away peacefully on March 6th. Born on February 21st, 1934 to Clarence and Eileen (Weldon) Stanley. Frederick is predeceased by Carol his beloved wife of over 60 years.

Frederick was born in Boston and met Carol there while in high school. He would ride his bicycle to meet Carol at her train stop where she came over from East Boston to attend school. Theirs was an inspirational story of love and longevity.

Frederick proudly enlisted in the Navy in 1953 where he served for four years on the USS O'Hare during the Korean War. He often spoke of his time serving his country with dignity and was proud to be a Veteran.

Frederick was a true family man, one who made sure to pass onto his children his values and importance of hard work in life. He worked full time while attending night school at Bentley College to obtain his degree in Accounting, which he used to facilitate a long career and to become a well-respected man in his field. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

He will be remembered as a kind, loving man with a strong Christian faith who read the Bible daily. He truly loved his family and would offer sound advice when asked, often advising to let the good Lord handle matters, as well as the importance of always doing things the right way, even if it wasn't always easy.

He is survived by his son Joseph M. Stanley and his wife Meredith of Woburn MA; daughter Susan C. Collins and her husband Richard of Northfield NH; grandchildren Sean, Giuliana, Joseph, Richard & Kano; and his great-grandson Jacob. He is predeceased by his brother C. Richard Stanley.
