Gail J. (Skora) Charpentier, 64, of 253 West Hancock Street, died November 6, 2002 at the Elliot Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Manchester on February 15, 1938, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothea (Premke) Skora and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was an alumni of Manchester West High School, Class of 1956. Mrs. Charpentier was employed with Wal-Mart in Bedford as an evening associate for the past eight years. She was the widow of Edward R. Charpentier who died in 1986. Family members include her Godson and caregiver, David A. Gray of Bedford and a number of close friends. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 11:30.
