Gail Ann Goodman

Gail Ann Goodman, 67 years old, died on August 24, 2021, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA after complications from a long battle with Lymphoma.

Gail was raised in Berlin, NH by Joseph and Delphine Fournier. A 1972 graduate of Berlin High School, Gail achieved a degree in accounting from Hesser College in Manchester, NH, where she later was employed as Controller. Gail excelled at a career in accounting and was employed within the Elliot Health System for thirty years. She found joy attending her high-school reunions and re-connecting with old classmates.

Gail was a great lover of the outdoors and made countless memories hiking New England peaks, walking and biking with her partner, Scott Guyer and friends from her meetup group. She could often be found enjoying time with friends and family on the shores of her camp on Lake Massasecum. Gail was also a longtime member of Brookside Congregational Church and found much comfort and strength in her faith and fellow parish members. She spent time on the church board as treasurer, volunteered for countless events such as preparing thanksgiving baskets, helping at holiday fairs and in the church thrift shop. She found peace attending services and particularly loved the Easter and Christmas Eve celebrations.

Gail is survived by her son, Scott Legere, and daughter, Lisa Condon. She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Anna Bilodeau, brother-in-law, Lazare Losier, partner, Scott Guyer, daughter-in-law, Shawnee Legere, son-in-law, John Condon, and grandchildren, Madelyn Del Greco, Brooks Legere, Margaret Condon, Miles Legere, Brigid Condon, and Allison Legere, as well as close friends Mike and Paulette Lambert, Diane Berube and John Watt plus many others. Gail is predeceased by her parents, husband Michael Goodman, and her sibling, Gary Fournier.
