Gary M. Bacon was born December 2, 1966 and passed away on July 2, 2018 at The Jack Byrne Hospice Center at DHMC after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He leaves behind his partner and more recently husband, Richard Vaughan, his mother Judy Lamper, brothers Greg (Cindy) Mailhot, Glen (Cheryl) Lamper, sisters Gina (Mike) St Cyr, Geri Lamper, step sisters Darlene Connelly , Donna and numerous nieces, nephews, and a great niece.
Gary was surrounded by Rick, his family and his friend Angie Berg who was his best friend since the fifth grade, during his final days.

Gary was born and lived in Manchester until moving to Dorchester in 2007. He led an active life snowboarding, camping, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and Jet Skiing. He cherished his dog Nikki who passed last December, Gracie, and his cats Sasha and Ginger. He spent many hours building and planting his flower and vegetable gardens. He was talented with craft, crochet, knitting and more recently quilting. All of his sisters and nieces received quilts which he lovingly made.

SERVICES: A time of gathering will be held on Friday, July 6, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester.

We would like to thank his team at the Norris Cotton Cancer and Jack Byrne Center for their efforts on his behalf. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his honor to The friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center, DHMC, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756 to further research fighting cancer.
