Gary Stephen Thews

Gary Thews, 53, of Derry died December 20, 2005 following a short bout with pneumonia. Gary was born on May 5, 1952 in Hempstead, New York the son of Richard and Barbara (Bates) Thews. He graduated from Needham High School in Massachusetts in 1970. He served in the US Army for four years where he was stationed in Germany. Prior to retirement, Gary was employed as a US Postal worker in Manchester. His passions were photography and traveling. Family members include; his parents of Fort Pierce, Florida; brother, Peter Thews; sisters, Gail Melendy and Diane Thews-Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gary also leaves behind many close friends. There will be a Memorial Reception on Wednesday, December 28th from 2:00 until 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
