“Denny” Gaudencio D. Fernandes – Manchester, NH Age 49 of Manchester, NH, formally of Duxbury, MA, died March 28th at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was born in Plymouth, MA on June 14, 1956 the son of Gaudencio M. and Evelyn (Adams) Fernandes. He was raised and educated in both the United States, as well as in Germany. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northeastern University. He had worked for SoundBite Communications in Burlington, MA as an Accounting Manager. He had belonged to both the ABC and USBC. Denny had 3 great loves in his life, family, jazz and bowling. He was a generous man, with a tremendous heart. He had a passion for the sport of bowling, and was a state champion in both MA & NH. He loved to share his passion by helping others improve their game. If someone showed an interest in learning, Denny was there for them. When he was not at work, or spending time with his daughter Brittany, you could always find him at the lanes. If a family member or friend was in need, Denny was there. He has touched immeasurable lives, is deeply loved, and will be missed endlessly by family, extended family, and a multitude of friends. He is survived by his step-father Milton Powell of Killeen, TX. Love of his life Barbara Brooke of Manchester, NH. Son Jason Bailey of Boston, MA. Daughter Brittany Silas of Peabody, MA. Sisters; Sue Christmas of Nova Scotia, Linda Mason of Atlanta, GA, Sharon Barnes of San Antonio, TX, and Beth Fernandes of Titusville, FL. One grandson and two nieces and two nephews also survive him. He was pre-deceased by his father Gaudencio M. Fernandes, mother Evelyn Powell and step-son Jerome Chrishlow. Friends and family are invited to a “Celebration of Life” on April 1st from 3 – 7:00PM at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 140 North Street North Reading, MA 01864 (978)664-2721.
