BETHLEHEM, NH --- Gayle Marie (DeSouza) Guyer, 46, passed away Tuesday, August 29th at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle was lost to cancer.
Ms. Guyer was born on December 2, 1959, a daughter to Louis and Elaine (Medeiros) DeSouza in New Bedford, MA.
Gayle worked as a waitress at the 4 Seasons Restaurant and the Baker Brook Restaurant. She also worked as a secretary at the Mittersill Vacation Condominiums in Franconia, after which she operated her own daycare from her home.
Surviving family includes two daughters Meredith and husband, David Morgan of Vermont; Mindy Guyer and her partner, Kristin Beard of Bethlehem; two grandchildren Caleb Morgan of Vermont and Savannah Canto of Bethlehem; three brothers, Louis DeSouza and his partner, Joseph Briggs, Michael and wife, Susan DeSouza; Manuel and his wife, Debra DeSouza, all of New Hampshire; her companion, Joseph Buddy Canto of Bethlehem; one sister, Grace Franco of Hansen, MA; five nephews; a niece; one great-nephew; three great-nieces, very good friends, Gary Guyer and Lorisa Parker of Littleton, Joseph Canto and Amber Carriere of Bethlehem several aunts, uncles and cousins. Her sister, Elaine Dolly Hardy predeceased her.
SERVICES -- Will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
