GEORGE BERNARD CREPEAU
LITTLETON, NH George B. Crepeau, 78, of River Glen Complex, passed away on September 17, 2004 at the Littleton Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
George was born a son to Joseph E. and Mary A. (Boissonneault) Crepeau on December 23, 1925 in Whitefield, NH. He graduated in the class of 1943 from Whitefield High School.
George served in the U. S. Army in Europe during World War II as a communications specialist. Western Union Telegraph in Baltimore, MD employed him for over 30 years. Playing the organ was a passion of his, the first of which he played, he built from a kit. He played the organ for various denominations in Baltimore and was a member of the choir and played the organ for St. Matthews Catholic Church in Whitefield for many years. George also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a past member of the American Legion, and was also a member of the National Rifle Association.
Two sisters, Theresa Caggiula of Colebrook, NH, and Claire Grady of Goffstown, NH survive George. Five brothers, Maurice, Paul, Lionel, Eugene, and Daniel, as well as two sisters, Louise and Madeline, predeceased George.
Services The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, September 21st from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. John Fleming as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Rose Cemetery.
