George J. Ferona

George J. Ferona, 74, of Manchester, passed away on July 1, 2021.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on August 9, 1946, the son of the late Salvatore and Viola (Gagnon) Ferona. He had worked for E & R Cleaners for over 25 years. After that, he worked for Alltex until his retirement. George was an active parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church where he attended Mass regularly, was involved in the Adoration Chapel, and assist with the Food Pantry. He enjoyed bowling, watching and following local and major league sports, attending concerts, and listening to music.
George leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 27th at 10:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in the family lot in St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations made in George's memory to Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03104. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
