George T. Heinemann

Mr. George T. Heinemann, 84, of Bedford, NH died September 2, 2008 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. He was born on July 6, 1924 in New York City, New York, the son of the late George Frederich and Eulalie (Barrett) Heinemann. He was raised and educated in Teaneck, NJ. Mr. Heinemann graduated from Rutgers University with his masters in Business. He was a resident of New Jersey for most of his life. For the past 13 years he was a resident of Bedford. He served in the US Army during World War II with the 497th Port Battalion and was in the China, Burma and India Theatre. He is survived by his wife who he married in 1948, Janet (Von Kempe) Heinemann of Bedford; son, Dr. George Heinemann Jr. of West Redding, CT; daughter, Elizabeth Iacono of Norristown, PA, and Pompano Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren and his sister, Beatrice Campbell of Illinois. Burial will be at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
