George J. Couture, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 82. He was born on April 27, 1944, in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

George will be remembered with love by those who knew him and by the family he held dear throughout his life. Those close to George will fondly remember his tendency to tell a great story, and natural ability to make others laugh. In his free time, George loved his Bingo games, walking the beach, hiking the mountains of New England, and the occasional game of basketball. He also loved listening to live music and dancing to it with his friends and family. His passing brings sorrow, but also gratitude for the years shared with him and for the lasting place he holds in the hearts of those closest to him.

He is survived by his daughter Christine Runnells and husband Arnold Runnells. His daughter JeanMarie McNamara; his grandchildren Peter and wife Sarah, Chris and wife Amanda, Nick and wife Rhyle, Morgan, and Campbell; his great-grandchildren Melody, Lila, Violet, Fletcher, and Lyon; by his brother, Robert Couture and Wife Claire; and by friend Janene Turner.

George was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Kowalczyk; his son, George Couture; and his brother, Dennis Couture. He was also preceded in death by Cynthia Sholler Conroy, who shared 18 years as George's fiancée and had amazing adventures together.

George J. Couture’s life is remembered with affection, and his memory will continue to live on in his family and in all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
