George C. Kallelis

George C. Kallelis, Sr., 52, of 14 Dallas Drive, Dracut, Ma., died February 7, 2002, at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, MA. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 14, 1949, the son of the late Andmios and Frances (Mirand) Kallelis and lived in Brooklyn for most of his life before moving to Dracut, Ma., ten years ago. George was a meat cutter for many years and had worked for DeMoulas Market Basket and Shop'n Save. Family members include a son George C. Kallelis, Jr., three daughters, Bridget Curreri, Deserie DiMassio and Ginger Kallelis, all of New York City, five grandchidren, a brother, John Kallelis of Manchester, a sister Pauline Ferranti of Michigan, a step sister, Judith Girard of Florida, one aunt, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Sunday from 2 to 7 PM. A Service will be held in the funeral home chapel Monday morning at 10 o'clock.
