It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Kimionakis, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 72.
George was a well-known and respected figure in the community, best remembered for his many years of dedication as the owner of Chantilly's Restaurant, where he built lasting relationships and made countless memories for those who visited.
Born and raised with a strong sense of family and tradition, George’s legacy lives on through his children: Mark Kimionakis and wife Jodi, Michael Kimionakis, Joanna McLean and husband Adam, Alexander Kimionakis and significant other Autumnlee Port, Joseph Kimionakis and fiancée Nicolette Griburas, and Andrew Kimionakis. He also leaves behind his cherished siblings in Greece: Crystalea, Eleni, and Joanna. George’s love extended to his 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory forward.
George was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Stavros, and his son, Jason.
George’s presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed. He touched the hearts of many and his memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort to his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH, where family and friends will gather to celebrate George’s life.
