George Julien Lambert, 83, of Durham, New Hampshire died April 14, 2002, at the home of his niece, Denise Craswell, in Poulsbo, Washington, where he resided for six months. He was born in Manchester, NH on September 28, 1918, the son of the late Phillipe and Adele (Anctil) Lambert. He was a graduate of West High School, Manchester, NH the University of New Hampshire of Durham, NH and Keene State College, Keene, NH. He was a W.W. II Army Air Corps. Veteran. Mr. Lambert was a teacher at Hartford Connecticut Schools from 1967 until his retirement in 1988. He loved tennis and travel. Family members include two sons, Steven Lambert of Los Angeles, California and Michael Lambert of Hollywood, California, a brother Henry Lambert of Bedford, NH, two sisters, Mrs. Cecile (Lambert) Munford of Bedford, NH and Germaine (Lambert) Bauer of Port Orchard, Washington. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a Funeral Service for Mr. Lambert in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium Chapel, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, Manchester, NH on Friday afternnon at 2 o'clock.
