George H. Nordstrom, 81, of Manchester died March 17, 2012 at Hackett Hill Healthcare in Manchester.
He was born on April 20, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Gustaf and Alice (Cullen) Nordstrom.
During World War II, he served as a medic in the US Army.
George worked as a purchasing agent for GE and several other companies.
He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving family members include his 5 daughters, Kathleen Lee, Dolores Hale and Georganne Nordstrom all of Hawaii, Kristin Nordstrom of Manchester and Susan Nordstrom of Nashua; 12 grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary, Trevor, Dakota, Hunter, Bryce, Cydney, Kendall, Ryan, Shea, Alex and Keanu; 2 brothers, Gustav Nordstrom of VT and John Nordstrom of PA; sister, Anna Passaro of NJ and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Rowland and two sisters, Alice Schwartz and Hilda Meaney.
