George R. Pellerin, 79, of 451 Hevey Street, died December 23, 2001, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester, NH on March 13, 1922, the son of Louis and Rose (Dionne) Pellerin and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was the widower of his first wife, Yvette (Demers) Pellerin. George was a US Navy Veteran serving during WWII, held memberships with the Catholic War Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign War and the American Jutras Post. Mr. Pellerin belonged to the League of Sacred Heart of Ste. Marie Church and was also a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. Family members include his wife of 33 years, Claire (Labarre) Pellerin, a son Jean Pellerin, a daughter, Lisa Camberis, all of Manchester, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother, Lionel Pellerin of Goffstown, two sisters, Bertha Chartrain of Manchester and Rita Ruel of Hooksett, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at Noon in Ste. Marie Church. Committal services will be at NH State Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH on Friday morning at 11AM with military honors.
