GEORGE E. PERRON
MANCHESTER, NH â George âJackâ E. Perron, 75, died suddenly, on Monday, January 31, 2011, at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.
Mr. Perron was born on January 27, 1936, in Manchester, NH, the son of the late Joseph and Eva Rose (Daneault) Perron. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force during the Berlin Wall Crisis.
At the time of employment, Mr. Perron was employed for 27 years, at Manchester Hosiery, where he worked as a supervisor. He also worked at Granite State Machine Company and Husqvarna Lawn and Garden until his retirement.
Later in life, he was very interested in the sports that his grandchildren was involved in. Mr. Perron was an avid New England sports fan. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Members of his family include; one son, Kenneth Perron, and his wife, Debra Perron, of Manchester; one daughter, Debra Porter, and her husband, James Porter, of Nashua; four grandchildren, Tyler and Kyle Perron, Ryan and Jenna Porter, and one step grandchild, Jessica Bowman, one sister, Lucille Denomme, of Lowell, MA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille (Chalifour) Perron.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday, February 4, 2011, from, 5:00 â 8:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker Street, in Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
