George H. Presby Jr., 82, of Penacook, NH, passed away peacefully at Merrimack County Nursing Home on September 28, 2026, following a period of declining health.

George was born in Concord, NH, on October 26, 1943, the son of George H. and Frieda Presby. He was educated locally and went on to build a lifelong career in the printing industry, dedicating his working years to the trade.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. His service was an important part of his life, and he carried with him the pride of having served his country.

A devoted dog lover, George found great joy and companionship in the animals he cared for throughout his life. He also enjoyed gardening and took pleasure in spending time tending to his plants and working outdoors.

George was the beloved husband of Glenna (Berube) Presby, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Glenna; his son, Jeff Presby; his daughter, Jodie Boutwell; his stepsons, William D. Elliott and Edwin W. Elliott; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings.

A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 130 Village Street, Concord, NH.
