Georgette B. (Bouvier) Sevigny, 90, formerly of 604 Rimmon Street and currently of 44 Carver Street, died January 27, 2009 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Manchester on October 12, 1918, the daughter of Albert and Angelina (Dumaine) Bouvier and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She was a graduate of the Villa Augustina. She worked for J.F. McElwain, Leavitt's Department Store and Almy's. She had also been employed by Phaneuf Funeral Homes. She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church for over 85 years. She loved crossword puzzles, baking and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In Her Life: Family members include her husband of 63 years, Roger Sevigny; two sons, Ronald Sevigny and his wife Louise of Sanford, NC and Richard Sevigny of Manchester; a daughter, Jeanine Scanlon and her husband Shaun of Manchester; 4 grandchildren, Kerry Soucy and her husband Dan of Manchester, Kevin Scanlon of NC, Stacey Zellers and her husband John of VA and Brian Sevigny and his wife Kathy of Hooksett; five great grandchildren; James Zellers, Alyssa Soucy, Joshua Soucy, Jacob Sevigny and Aidan Sevigny; a brother, Marcel Bouvier of Bedford; a sister, Gabrielle Croteau of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Friday from 3 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 in Ste.
