GEORGETTE D. TREMBLAY MANCHESTER, NH Georgette D. (Prive) Tremblay, 53, died Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Elliot Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Manchester, NH, on August 30, 1954, the daughter of the late Henry and Irene (Vanasse) Prive. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Mrs. Tremblay was employed for 10 years by the City of Manchester, where she worked in the cafeteria at West High School. She was a member of the Candian Club, Workmans Club, and the Apline Club. Family members include; her son, Henry J. Prive, of Manchester; 2 daughters, Sharon Brodeur, and Angela McKeon, both of Concord; 3 grandchildren, 4 brothers, Milton Prive, of Manchester; Robert Prive, of Candia, NH; Lucien Prive and Peter Prive, both of Manchester; 8 sisters, Irene Trahan, of Manchester; Rita Trahan, of Ocala, FL; Violet Lamarine, of Manchester; Pauline Caron, of Epsom, NH; Rena Sorel, of Bedford; Claire Lavertu, of Ocala, FL; Judy Charette, of Allenstown, NH; June Prive Eaton, of Auburn, NH; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Tremblay. IN HER LIFE: Family members include her 3 grandchildren, Jessica Prive, Cody Brodeur, Paul McKeon, her companion, John Masson, of Manchester. Mrs. Tremblay enjoyed spending time with her dog, Casey. She was predeceased by her 4 brothers, Roger Prive, Paul Prive, Roland Prive, Raymond Prive, and by her 2 sisters, Bertha Lafreniere, Rachel Christman. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday, November 15, from 2:00 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 9:00 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will be Friday, 1 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Beford, NH 03110, in memory of Mrs. Tremblay.
