GEORGIA JOY M. KEOHANE
LITTLETON, NH Georgia Joy M. Keohane, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the Littleton Regional Hospital with her family be her side, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.
Georgia was born on October 16, 1943, a daughter to George and Emma-May (Corbin) Akins, in Endicott, NY.
Georgia was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church. She was a published poet. She loved to play golf and watch the New York Giants, of which she and her husband were avid fans. Georgia had a passion for German Shepherd's and used to take their Shepherd, Sheba, to the Lafayette Center in Franconia on occasion for all to enjoy. She also loved the Littleton Police Departments K-9 Unit as she would furnish them with treats from time to time.
She is survived by her husband, John Keohane of Littleton, NH and her daughter, Trish Herman, also of Littleton.
SERVICES A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at the New Life Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ernest Wilkins officiating.
