Mr. Gerald R. Chauvette, 56, of Manchester, NH died December 29, 2007 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH following a period of declining health. He was born on November 30, 1951 in Manchester, NH the son of the late Emile and Georgette (Dionne) Chauvette. He was raised and educated in Manchester. Gerald received his Associates degree in Drafting from NH Vo Tech. He worked as a draftsman/designer for Sanders, Lockheed and currently BAE for the past 23 years. For the Past 37 years, Jerrys passion was church liturgy and music. He played the guitar in music ministries at St. Edmond Parish, Parish of the Transfiguration and most recently, St. Lawrence Parish in Goffstown. He was a member of the Parish Liturgy Committees most of the years he played. He is survived by his wife, Karen (Wilbar) Chauvette, of Manchester; 3 sons, Nathan Chauvette of Manchester, Evan Chauvette of Baltimore City, MD and Nicholas Chauvette of Norfolk, VA; daughter, Caitlin Chauvette of Manchester; 5 brothers, Roger Chauvette of Provincetown, MA, Laurier Chavuette of Daytona Beach, FL, Normand Chauvette of Goffstown, David Chauvette of Birmingham, AL and Jude Chauvette of Manchester and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In His Life: Jerry will be remembered for his never-ending sense of humor and creativity. He always had a special project underway for the benefit of his family or friends. He was a devoted father who strived to give his children a wonderful variety of life experiences through travel and other opportunities. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Ashlyn Chauvette of Manchester and Wesley Chauvette of Baltimore City, MD, his daughter in-law, Judy Chauvette of Baltimore City, MD and his sons fiancée, Katherine Gore of Springfield, MA. The family requests that anyone attending the services dress festively for the season and to sign organ donor cards. His Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30AM at St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown.
