Geraldine M. Horne

Geraldine M. Horne, 63, of 204 Back River Road, Bedford, died March 22, 2001, at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Onalaska, Wisconsin on December 19, 1937, the daughter Frank and Frieda (Otto) Podell and resided many years in Mexico, Maine before moving to this area 12 years ago. Geraldine worked ten years as a security guard for Allied Security Company. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and watching the Boston Red Sox. Family members include her son Michael Horne of Richmond, Virginia, two daughters Kathy Horne of Mattapan, Ma., and Jeannie Walsh of Medfield, Ma., six grandchidlren, a sister Rosemary Dalton of Manchester, several nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 3 to 4 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchster. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101 Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
