Gerard R. Cote

Mr. Gerard R. Cote, 90, of Manchester, died March 19, 2009 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown following a long illness. He was born on February 26, 1919 in Manchester, NH the son of the late Alfred H. and Mary Rose (Goudreau) Cote. He was raised and educated in Manchester. He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Cote worked as a chef for 21 years at the Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT. He enjoyed fishing in Lake Massabesic, spending time outdoors and painting. He is survived by his wife, Annette Cote of Manchester; brother Ronald Cote of Manchester; sister Lorraine Beetz of Raymond, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 2:00pm in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
