Gerard J. Neveu, 85, currently of 238 Hunter Road, Simpsonville, SC and formerly of Manchester passed away at his residence on April 25, 2007. He was born in Sherbrook, PQ Canada on June 1, 1921, the son of Edmond and Rhea Marie (Beaudrey) Neveu and had been a Manchester resident for most of his life before moving to SC several years ago. He was a World War II Army Veteran where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked for the United States Postal Service and had been a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. He enjoyed traveling and working in the garden. Family members include his wife of 64 years, Yvette (Auger) Neveu; a daughter, Mrs. (Rick) Diane Lark of Simpsonville, SC; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother, Edmond Neveu of Goffstown; two sisters, Laurette Labrie of Manchester and Yvette Coulombe of SC; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Ste.
