GERDA B. HEATH
LITTLETON, NH -- Gerda B. Heath, age75, of Littleton, passed away at her home, surrounded by friends and family on November 26, 2005, following a brief illness.
She was born November 18, 1930 in Viernheim, West Germany to Luise (Bruch) and Valentin Busalt and lived there for 17 years until her marriage to Harold N. Heath, a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, on September 22, 1948. The couple returned to the United States following the end of WWII, settling at Fort Hood in Texas.
She worked as a bookkeeper for NAPA Auto Parts and Henschel Shoe Company, and as a cashier at WalMart. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly by her family and friends for her warm-hearted smile, strong religious faith and generous spirit.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold N. Heath in 1996, two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her daughters Shirley Heath of Littleton and Cindy Heath of Plainfield, NH, sons Tom Heath of Sugar Hill & Ken Heath of Littleton; grandchildren Jeremy Heath of State College, PA, Jennifer Heath of Orleans, MA, Chelsea, Winter & Taylor Heath, all of Littleton, and a great-grandson Jesse Heath of State College, PA, and several cousins, nieces and nephews in Germany.
SERVICES -- There will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton, NH on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Reverend Edward Lopeman. A reception will follow at the familys home in Littleton.
